May Trip to Haiti
Two close friends and I are headed to Haiti. We will split our time between Port-au-Prince and Gonaives. While in Gonaives, I will assess the progress of the tree nurseries, talk with the nursery manager and attendants, and help with any necessary work at the nurseries. I will also bring school supplies, donated by St. Mary School of Richland Center, WI, to the school at Eben-Ezer Mission. Finally, I will spend time with my Haitian friends and introduce my American friends to the vibrant culture and history of Gonaives. For photos and commentary of the trip, visit my blog.
